The Little Blessings...

It's always so fun to see the little surprise blessings that the Lord sends my way. It always brings a smile to my face.

O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him. ~Psalm 34:8
I've been looking into getting a baby wrap. There seems to be 2 kinds woven or stretchy. I ordered a stretchy one, the Sleepy Wrap and decided that I would try to make my own woven wrap. Well today I was blessed with the fabric I needed to make a woven wrap! A friend gave me a large bag full of fabric and inside was 6 yards of the stuff I needed. I cut it promptly tried it out and I loved it! Then just a few hours later when the mail came my Sleepy Wrap came in the mail. So I switched wraps and tried it out. I love them both!

There are pros and cons of both but to me they are slight.

Sleepy Wrap Pros
The fabric is soft and what I call "snuggly". My baby went right to sleep when in it.
You can pre-tie it and don't have to untie to remove the baby very simple in and out!
Easy tie instructions.
Gives more freedom during nursing. Which is the best pro for me!!
Love how it evenly spread the weight.
Nice price, free shipping and awesome return policy!
Gives me more cuddle time with my little guy while still doing housework and taking care of my 3 girls.

Woven Wrap Pros
The fabric is light weight and was cool.
Gives more freedom during nursing. Which is the best pro for me!!
Love how it evenly spread the weight.
It was free!!
Easy to tie.
Gives me more cuddle time with my little guy while still doing housework and taking care of my 3 girls.

Sleepy Wrap Cons
The fabric was a little bulkier than the woven wrap.
It was also a little warmer than the woven wrap.

Woven Wrap Cons
Can't be pre-tied.
Need to untie it all to get the baby out.

As you can see the pros definitely outweigh the cons with both wraps. Of course since this is the first day I have had and tried them both this is just my opinion of them after one day. I'm looking forward to taking them both on trips and using them!
