WIP Wednesday

Today I figured I'd share how my afghan is coming along. Mrs. H at The Place of H hosts WIP Wednesday and I thought I'd join along.

I really like how it is turning out. I love the colors! The blue is darker than what the book has but I like dark blue anyway. As you can see from the right side I have a lot of weaving in to do when I am done. There is still a ways to go yet and I should actually be farther than I am now but I haven't touched this in a week. (Ouch!) I'm planning to do a couple more rows tonight.

Very pretty, and I like the contrasting colors as well! Thanks for joining us this week.

It's looking great! :) Can you carry the tail under the work? So you don't have to weave in all those ends? That's what I've done with my afghan, though my design is not so open and airy.

I've just recently heard of that, Tammy. I may give it a try on the next row I do and I'll see how it comes out.

Wow- that's really pretty! My girls love to knit and crochet - I'm too stubborn to learn!
