Menu Plan Monday

Last week went pretty well for my menu. A couple of days I had to switch around due to forgetting to take some things out of the freezer but in the end it all worked out. You can find recipes for some of the meals that I did at my recipe review blog Let' Get Cookin'!

Ok so this week hmmmm let's see, Ok so I really don't have a menu yet I've got a sort of sketchy one forming in my mind as I'm typing this. Hey, Monday snuck up on me this week and I haven't given it much thought yet.

Monday: Olive Garden!! It's Date Night tonight!

Tuesday: Chicken something

Wednesday: ???? Anyone have any ideas?

Thursday: I'm having guests over so I'll be digging out my cookbooks which are still packed somewhere in the garage.

Friday: Leftovers, my daughter has a party for her Sunday School class and there'll be food there as well.

Saturday: Cookbooks still needed to go through

Sunday: Guest Preacher Lou Rossi coming into town so we will more than likely be going out to eat.

So there's my menu. I know it's not perfect but it's a work in progress. I am going to be making a Banana Bread in my crockpot today since I have bananas that need to be used. If you need better inspiration and ideas than you've gleaned from my menus than head over to Let' Get Cookin'! or for more Menu Plan Monday Blogs go to Organizing Junkie.

Olive Garden sounds good to me. It's been a LONG time since I was last at one.

Oh, crockpot banana bread sounds delicious. I can just smell it cooking all day.

Great sounding menu. Thanks for checking out my MPM. Rice Bubbles are an Australian rice breakfast cereal. I think you might call them rice kripsies or something along those lines.

Thanks for stopping by my menu. I love Olive Garden. The nearest one to us is 70 miles a way but we still make it occassionally but only because it is down the street from Sam's. I recently found this website. I haven't tried any of the recipes yet but am planning on trying the fettucini from Olive Garden...

I invite you to stop by my blog to see a great idea for your Wednesday night - Sausage & Tomato Rigatoni. Easy to prepare and even easier clean up.

Well, I'd say you do need to be a cauliflower fan to like the twice baked cauliflower....and i am. I am diabetic, so thought I would give it a try since it is way lower in carbs than twice baked potatoes. My husband really liked it, too. The thing about the cauliflower is it doesn't really mash up like a potato, so it is pretty chunky.

Anyway, I'll check out your recipe blog. I love browsing recipes!!

Thanks for stopping by my menu monday! I hope you were able to whip up some good recipes for this week!

That's so cool that you are homeschooling. I think about it and always wonder if I am doing the right thing by sending my kiddo to public school. My oldest is in kindergarten. So far, the year has gone well, but I am keeping my mind and heart open for the future.

Good luck on your venture. Nothiing ever seems like the perfect scenario, but I guess parenthood is never that way!
