Shoes Can Make or Break Your Day

Do you feel frumpy? Like you can't quite get into the groove of the day. Even though your face is on, your makeup is good and your outfit is so cute. You still feel like staying on the couch and channel surfing or curling up to take a nice nap all day long. Or maybe you feel like this:

Look down. It may be because of your feet (or what's on them).

What you have on your feet (or lack of) can cause a lethargic feeling keeping you from being productive.

On days I feel like doing absolutely nothing, I'm usually wearing these:

My beautiful comfy slippers that I got for Christmas. (I asked for them and I love how warm and toasty they keep my toes but not very fashion friendly)
Or I'm going barefoot. No picture, I didn't want to scare anyone.

To get things done and to be able to go outside or to the store I typically slip these on:

While they are very comfortable and "go with anything" almost, they only stay nice looking for about one day, at least at my house. As you can see these shoes don't compliment any outfit anymore. They're best for rough activities that you don't care what shoes you're wearing.

So today I got these:

They are cute and comfy and will add to your outfit not detract. (Plus, they were only $8!)

Hey, Friend of Fussy!
I posted about my slippers too. Yours look much better than mine, though.
I'm eagerly awaiting my new slippers to be delivered...

I want some! Those are cute, and they look pretty comfy, too. I thought as I clicked over here taht you would tell me to wear pointy toed shiny shoes or something, and I Just Can't.

Good morning! I am soooo NOT a shoe person. I wore the same black shoes with every outfit for four years. My mom hated it. lol My husband thought it was awesome. But I recently "discovered" heels. Within the last week I bought a pair of brown and a pair of black heels. I also walked into Payless for the first time in years and saw the cutest tennies. My poor husband :)

I've been having the WORST shoe luck lately. My husband has told me I'm getting new shoes OR ELSE!

LOL

Love the new shoes! And what a bargain, too. I'm on a mission, I am in need of new shoes on a budget, so I might have to post about the deals that I'm going to find.

Have a blessed day, Jennifer!
(and thanks for the commercial ditty on my post!)

Cute! I do wish they made cute shoes for those of us with super-extra-homongous feet, though.

I like the new shoes (where?) I only wear socks around the house--effective for spot mopping on the go but attractive? Not so much. I've got to get out of this "comfort comes first" rut! I'm committing to find shoes I'll wear in the house! Thanks for the jumpstart :)

polka dot shoes are like wearing sunshine on your feet...

I wear flip flops 99 percent of the time. The other 1 percent I'm wearing gym shoes. :) I really need to look into a cute pair of shoes like those.

I've just recently started to notice how different pairs of footwear make me feel different. I've always been a believer in comfort for feet, but nice heels do make me feel more efficient. Love the photo of your daughter - definitely a "my walking boots are still wet" day!
