All Cleaned Up

YAY! It's now Celebration Station instead of Procrastination Station. I did it. The carpets are now clean! I can't believe the transformation. I'm sorry now that I didn't take any before pictures of how bad it was. The gentleman who cleaned our carpets did a great job and got out a lot of spots that I thought would never come out. The only problem is now I am paranoid and I do not want to get this carpet like it was. So I am keeping on top of the girls and making sure they keep all stain related items at the table. I have a feeling though that my biggest mess maker is not any of the females that live in this house. So I'll be keeping a closer eye on him as well. LOL

I just love that feeling of accomplishment and the free feeling as if a burden has been lifted. The house even looks cleaner with a clean carpet. I am not going to put down my area rugs until tomorrow morning just to make sure it all dries good. It was raining here today so the air is very damp. Not great for trying to dry your carpets.

Because of this I spent the day out today. I am ready to fall over though. I am definitely going to bed early tonight. Have a great night everyone.

Finished Projects

I finally finished my first project in crocheting. I made a poncho for my 3 year old and she loves it. She wears it whenever she goes out. It was really easy to make it took me awhile just because I put off finishing it. I may go ahead and make one for my 1 year old as well.

With the left over yarn I made a hat for my new little one. It was also very easy to make however it took me a few tries to get the round and size just right. One of the ladies in my church wants one for herself. So I may try and make one for her because she has been such a great friend.

Family Time with the Elephant Seals

Mondays are our family days so we decided to take the girls to see the Elephant Seals. We had a lot of fun. The drive was beautiful up the coast and the girls were great on the trip. According to the Friends of the Elephant Seal website the beach was full of female and young juvenile seals. Of course as I was running out the door, I forgot my camera so I got no pictures of the girls and the seals. The pictures above as you can tell by the datestamp are pictures I took when my husband and I took a drive on Hwy 1. There were not as many elephant seals as there were on Monday. My 1 year old was having a blast copying their sounds and my 3 year old kept wanting to go and play on the beach. I love taking trips to different places with my family. I wonder where we will go next Monday.

Smart Habits Saturday

Yay! I'm back to SHS after missing out for a month I think due to my new addition. I have some new habits that I would like to work on.

1. Have dinner ready every night possible.
(I love to cook but getting going is my downfall.)
2. Keep the girls on a schedule.
(When you live by a schedule especially with little ones it makes it so much easier to live and to enjoy the day.)

Compared to my old habits this is a very short list. But I know it is going to be a challenge. Good luck to the rest of you with your Smart Habits Saturday!

Procrastination Station

It has been so much easier keeping up with the house after my mom came through and organized a lot of my stuff. Some things that she did I am still finding out about and then think to myself, "What a great idea why didn't I think of that!" However the one thing that has been getting put off and off is getting the carpets cleaned.

My carpets are AWFUL and they are in desperate need of a cleaning. (Which is why in my next house no more carpet!) My mom found a company to clean the carpets and even gave us the money to have them done but I've had to reschedule it twice now! So they are now rescheduled for this coming Friday I am determined to not procrastinate any further. (Lord willing.)

Good To Be Back

Wow! I can't believe how long I've been away! Having my new little one has really added a lot to my schedule. It has taken me this long to get into my new groove and routine with taking care of 3 little girls. I haven't even checked my email since I had her.

Life has been busy and fun. I am trying to get her on a strict feeding schedule so that I can plan with my other two girls. I didn't do this for the first two but so far it's going pretty well. Thankfully, when I came home from the hospital my parents came down to help out and to see the baby. I don't know what I would have done if they weren't here. My mom stayed for about 4 days and it was so great having her here. We actually hadn't spent time like that since I got married 5 years ago. I loved it.

Spring has sprung in our neck of the woods. It has been beautiful outside lately although very windy. I love this time of year. It is so lovely!

A Surprise During the Week

Well, I certainly wasn't expecting to write this post so soon but I am happy to announce that we have been joined by our third beautiful little girl! She was 7lbs and 19 1/2in. She joined us at 12:02pm on April 5th. What a blessing the Lord has again placed into my life.
