"I love my computer because my friends live in it!"
Too funny! I found that quote today. No idea who said it first.
Ballerina Girl was sick again and because Sissy was getting bored I asked one of my dear friends from church if they would be able to watch her. Not 2 hours later I get a call from my husband letting me know that Sissy threw up and I now have 2 sick little girls. He brought her home and I cleaned her up.
Sissy is a little harder to deal with when she's sick because for some reason she doesn't like to throw up into a bowl or any other object for that matter. I've got Ballerina Girl nicely trained, if she were to wake up in the middle of the night sick she would use the handy bowl I provided for her instead of getting it all over her bed, but not Sissy.
This evening while I was taking a break and browsing some of the blogs I like to read and the girls were quiet in the living room, I heard Ballerina Girl say, "Oh no!" Sissy let it out all over the couch. (I don't care about the couch at all. I'm looking forward to getting a new one someday.) So I decided, "It's bathtime!" While giving the two of them a bath Blue Eyes wakes up and she is crying something fierce. My dear husband goes in to get her and... you guessed it... I hear, "Oh no! Honey!" Blue Eyes is now sick as well.
He gets her out of her bed and out of her yucky pjs while I finish up with the other two. While I'm doing Sissy's hair in case she has any more "episodes" it won't get all dirty, Blue Eyes gets more sick while Daddy is holding her. (I don't know what it is about my husband but whenever he holds the girls is when they start having "problems" lol) We clean her up and get her in the tub. After I proceed to clean up her crib. I had been holding Blue Eyes so I handed her off to her Daddy so I could untie the bumper which had also gotten dirty. Not 5 seconds later there she goes again (see I told you it's only when my honey is holding her that she does it). So we switch off and I hold her and he finishes up.
Well, now all the girls are peacefully sleeping and I have a break to let you know all about the night at our house. My Honey is cleaning off the futon getting it ready for us so that we can sleep near the children tonight. If any of you are wondering about that winter revival it's going great! I've had to miss 2 nights of it now and it looks like I'll be missing tomorrow's as well but my husband says that it was really good tonight. Thank you for any that are praying for it!
*And if you're wondering what the picture above has to do with anything, it doesn't. I just wanted a picture up.

Why do husbands have to cry out, "Oh Honey!" when the child has done something icky. My hubby can't clean a dirty diaper without crying out in despair, acting as if the world was coming to an end.
Hope everyone is feeling better soon!
Well, I think the girls' illness has painted a true picture of revival... getting the yucky stuff out of the way - then we'll all feel better. Hope this doesn't last too long - I do feel for you.
Blessings.
Actually, Heather, he apologized when we were going to sleep and let me know he just didn't know what to do when those things happened. So I let him know what I would like for him to do the next time. He's so sweet! But yes I know what you mean. lol
I hope your girls are feeling better soon and I hope you don't catch it!
